Pu Tien
Hi guys, kayden here! Ready for your weekly dose of YSKeats? Let’s not waste any time
Today’s food review will be on the famous PU TIEN that has won the Michelin award and this post will be my take on it.
I just visited this restaurant with my family last week to celebrate father’s day. Previously, I had read so many good reviews about it and was so excited to try their dishes! This visit is like a wish come true (Cus I didn’t have to pay HAHA)
Steamed prawns with minced garlic

Stirred fried yam

>Deep fried eggplant dressed with pork floss
>Sweet and sour pork with lychee

Baked DUOTOU clam on hot plate

On top of the dishes shown, I also ordered their famous lor mee and fried heng hwa bee hoon.
Let’s cut the story short, michelin star? Meh… Maybe it was good in the past but now? Not worth it.
The only nice dishes are the DUOTOU, the steamed prawns and the fried eggplant which is not even their signature dish.
The lor mee is basically your typical hawker centre you mian..
The bee hoon was as if they were clumped together and a tad bit too dry
Sweet and sour pork W LYCHEE? The lychee makes it no different from the neighbourhood tze char one..
I’m not a fan of yam so I shall not comment on that HAHA! So yups, that’s my take on PU TIEN.
Is it worth it? Certainly not. If u really want to try, try those that I recommended and perhaps some that I have not tried (;
Till next time, peace
